Is someone in your life expecting a little one? This course will guide intermediate knitters through the construction of a basic baby sweater. Baby sweaters are a great introduction to garment construction without the time investment required for an adult sweater. We will be following one of two Elizabeth Zimmerman patterns - Baby Surprise or February Baby. Knitters should be familiar with increasing, decreasing and yarn-overs.

Bring 300-500 yards of DK or light worsted weight yarn (depending on the size of the baby), and a 24" circular needle to get gauge of ~6 stitches per inch (typically US size 5-7).
Wednesdays beginning October 3, 6:30 - 8pm for 3 weeks
pre-registration recommended
