Kleine studied architecture and musicology at the Technical University of Berlin and at the Cooper Union, New York City. He has collaborated with Eisenman Architects in New York and Sauerbruch Hutton in Berlin as well as design firms in Aachen, and Monchengladbach, Germany; Barcelona; and Toulouse, France, among others.
