"A review of the 2012 drought: Lessons learned from a state climatologist's perspective," Dennis Todey, South Dakota State University. Research poster presentations and refreshments to follow in the second-floor Agronomy commons. Part of the Agronomy Graduate Club Research Symposium.

Dr. Dennis Todey received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Meteorology at Iowa State. He is now an Associate Professor at South Dakota State University and the the State Climatologist for South Dakota. Dr. Todey's role is to manage statewide weather and climate data collection and dissemination, as well as to inform agriculture on various climate events and impacts.
