As moderator for the evening panel session, Jane has posed several questions to provoke discussion:
-- How do we understand socio-spatial change in the Latin American context?
-- Rural-urban: continuum or divide in contemporary Latin America?
-- What does it mean to discuss the "rural" in an urbanized Latin America?
-- Where do we see connections, divisions, and transformations in the social, political, and/or built environments?
-- How do we make sense of everyday spaces of risk and belonging in this context?
-- What does all of this teach us about Latin American urbanism?
