Where can you meet ISU Athletics Director Jamie Pollard and learn tips on how to tame the e-mail beast on the same day? Where can you get expert advice from renowned speakers for only $50? Where can you network with other P&S staffers from all over campus?
Only at the P&S Professional Development Conference to be held on April 2nd at Scheman!
The theme of this year's conference is "Navigating the Five Cs"-- conference, coursework, community, coaching and continuing education. There to guide you on this journey will be Karen Kerns, vice president of Kerns and Associates; Penny O'Conner, adjunct instructor of speech Communication at UNI; and Randy Dean, author, professional speaker and email sanity expert.
Along with Jamie Pollard, featured speakers from ISU include President Steven Leath; Jeff Johnson, President of the Alumni Association; Nancy Franz, director of professional and organizational development, Extension and Outreach; and Cathann Kress, vice-president for Extension and Outreach.
And if all that isn't enough, you will have the opportunity to join one of the awesome affinity-based learning and service groups led by P&S Council coaches.
