Their music ranges from "Flight of the Valkries" to Tchaikovsky, from Nirvana to Spaghetti Western soundtracks. A concert by The Ukulele Orchestra is a funny, virtuosic, twanging, awesome, foot-stomping rock-n-roll and melodious light entertainment featuring only the "bonsai guitar" and a menagerie of voices colliding in a post-punk performance and toe-tapping oldies. It will be "one plucking thing after another" when they take the stage at Stephens on Sunday, November 17. They've sold out the Sydney Opera House, The Royal Albert Hall and our own Carnegie Hall--let's make it happen again at Stephens!
