Brimming with imagination, energy and genre-smashing scope, Fitz and The Tantrums defied the odds to become an indisputable phenomenon, a chart-topping, show-stopping modern pop combo unlike any other.

The Los Angeles-based sextet self-released their first EP, Songs for a Breakup, Vol. 1, in 2009 and soon found themselves appearing on KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic," touring with Maroon 5 and recording their full-length debut, Pickin' Up the Pieces. The album, which was awarded three-and-a-half stars by Rolling Stone magazine, spent 73 weeks on Billboard's Heatseekers chart, peaking at #1. The band was named a "You Oughta Know" artist by VH1 and views for the video of their hit single "MoneyGrabber" surpassed three million. For their 2013 Elektra Records debut, More Than Just A Dream, Fitz and The Tantrums worked with producer Tony Hoffer (Beck, M83, Phoenix) and ramped up the timeless song craft and sonic force that made them a worldwide sensation.

Capital Cities' dual frontmen Ryan Merchant and Sebu Simonian--jingle writers who first met on Craigslist--released their debut, self-titled EP in 2011. Their lead single "Safe and Sound" shot to #1 on Modern Rock radio and is currently climbing Top 40 radio. The breakout alt-dance group is a success story spawned by the loyal fans that has continued to blossom. Their electronic-infused pop rock represents all that is right in modern music making, and makes the perfect soundscape for a day at the beach, or a night in the dark part of town, as long as you're ready to dance.

Los Angeles-based electronic/dance band Beat Club will open the show. The group's music draws from an eclectic palette of influences ranging everywhere from hip-hop to punk rock to world-dance. Armed with an arsenal of songs often driven by searing, rhythmic guitars, funky Afrobeat bass lines and vintage synthesizers, layered over a booming blend of acoustic and electronic beats, Beat Club has become a fresh and unmistakeable musical collective.
