Learn more about Iowa's GK-12 Program. Symbi fellows work collaboratively with a middle or high school science teacher to leverage research experiences as they develop innovative and engaging activities for the students.

Symbi is offering a $30,000 stipend to qualified doctoral students. Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents affiliated with the Bioeconomy Institute, NSF Engineering Center for Biorenewable Chemicals, Plant Sciences Institute, or the College of Engineering.
