MAKE:
Modular Origami Ornaments - Learn a couple variations on a stellated octahedron and a stellated icosahedron. (Free)

Sand Paiinting with Abhi Rao - An artform as well as a meditative practice. Called "rangoli" in South Asia, sand painting is made with indigenous, locally found materials. For example, in some parts of India where marble is abundant, these paintings are made with powdered marble mixed with colored minerals. In other parts, powdered rice is used as a medium to create visual motifs on the floor. Draw on various meditative motifs that can help develop serenity and becoming centered. Learn the basic techniques so you can create your own motifs to decorate your personal space or use it as a meditative exercise. (Free)

Painted Clay Ornaments - Work with Ruth Soseman and Ana Marie Grittman on painting tree ornaments. $4 plus the cost of bisque you choose. Ornaments will be fired within a week for you to pick up.
