Steve Prater, architect with facilities planning and management, is retiring after 19 years with Iowa State. A program will begin at 3 p.m.

Prater began his Iowa State career as an architect with Design Services and currently is a project manager with Design and Construction Services. His work projects include the Beardshear Hall remodeling, Jischke Honors Building and the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center.
