Kerry Max Cook's conviction stands only because he was persuaded into signing a plea agreement that required no admission of guilt but allowed him to be released from prison for time served. Cook has written a book, Chasing Justice, which chronicles his story from arrest to release. Today, he is an advocate for legal reform, an involved member of his community, a proud father - and he continues the fight to have his conviction overturned.
