Join Blanden Art Museum artist and instructor Diane O'Hern for a unique sculpture workshop using flowers, plants, and insects as inspiration! Create your own hand-built sculpture with air-dry clay, and then use watercolor paint to bring it to life. Finally, translate 3D to 2D, as you sit back and sketch your finished piece! STEAM program perfect for artists of any age and experience - sign up for the youth section for more elementary techniques or the adult section for more advanced techniques - ages 8 and above are welcome in either section!
Registration with prepayment is required by Monday, August 10. Cost is $16 per person for members and $20 per person for the general public. Iowa State University students pay 15% off the member price.
