"Reflections on a War and Those Who Served." James Wright, President Emeritus and Eleazar Wheelock Professor of History at Dartmouth College, author of "Those Who Have Borne the Battle: A History of America's Wars and Those Who Fought Them." National Affairs Series

President Wright, a Marine veteran, was a leader in the establishment of an educational counseling program for wounded U.S. veterans offered through the American Council on Education. He also worked with several U.S. Senators to double college benefits for troops and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars in the 2008 Post-9/11 GI Bill. Wright retired as President of Dartmouth in 2009. He is currently working on a book about about the human face of the Vietnam War.
