The grinding, beat-infused cadre that is Holy White Hounds started in late 2013 between longtime friends Brenton Dean (vocals, guitar) and Ambrose Lupercal (bass).

Having played in various projects across the Midwest, the two sat down to create something urgent, novel and infectious. After demoing various songs and lineups, the duo approached Producer Brandon Darner (Imagine Dragons, Radio Moscow, The Envy Corps) and began to flesh out the framework for what would become Holy White Hounds.

Holy White Hounds released their Oh Mama EP which features 'Switchblade,' 'In Your Skin,' and the titular track 'Oh Mama' in 2013. Their sound is comprised of stripped and relentless beats under explosive guitars sparkled with polygonal, reflective and urgent lyrics - it's true rock n' roll.

After a warm Midwest reception and a host of praising reviews for the Oh Mama EP, Dean and Lupercal knew they needed to start building their herd to defend their lambs - their fans. They recruited Seth Luloff (drums) and James Manson (guitar), and took Holy White Hounds on the road. Right out of the gate, they performed live with acts such as Cage the Elephant, Sick Puppies, Cake, Wavves, Surfer Blood, and Rob Zombie. Local rock radio station The Lazer 103.3 (KAZR-FM) embraced the band with radio support and chose them to perform in front of thousands at LazerFest in May of 2015.

Holy White Hounds is currently in studio with Darner putting the finishing touches on new music that will eventually be released as their debut LP. They are also busy touring regionally - changing and instigating the world one city at a time.
