Harris then played a huge role in the success of ex-Arrested Development vocalist Dionne Farris, whose 1995 debut, Wild Seed - Wild Flower, featured Harris' production and guitar work. Harris also served as musical director of Farris' live band before starting his solo career and releasing his first, self-titled solo album in 1997.
While the album was praised by critics, Harris' range of musical influences made the album difficult to sell and he soon moved on to his next project, joining forces with former Black Crowes bassist Johnny Colt and drummer Kenny Cresswell to form the power trio Brand New Immortals. The band generated substantial buzz with a six-song EP in 2000 and then their full-length debut, Tragic Show, in 2001, but once again, commercial success proved elusive and the group broke up in 2002.
Since then, Harris has continued to find success as a solo artist and can frequently be found on stage performing with artists such as John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Marc Broussard and Santana to name a few. He's released another three solo albums, including his most recent Lightyears, which became available at his live shows in 2014 and is rumored for wider release in 2015.
Folk/pop singer/songwriter Tyler Lyle will open the show. .
