Jazz II, under the tutelage of Michael Giles, presents a Roy G. Biv program. With selections titled appropriately, the band illustrates colorful works by Duke Ellington, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Ken Schaphorst, and Maria Schneider. The color wheel concert is inspired by a mind-blowing podcast by Radiolab, produced by WNYC and NPR.
