Wes Moore speaks about how we find the most value in work based in service, selflessness and risk taking. It is the subject of his latest book, The Work: My Search for a Life That Matters, which explores the meaning of success in a volatile, difficult and seemingly anchorless world.
His first book, The Other Wes Moore, is a story of the mentorship and support networks that refused to let him fall into crime and drugs. He also produced the three-part PBS series, Coming Back with Wes Moore, which tells the story of soldiers attempting to reintegrate back into society after returning from war.
