Light-front quantization is an ideal framework to evaluate the structure of relativistic bound states. In this talk I will first review basic ideas of light-front quantization and introduce Basis Light-front Quantization (BLFQ), a non-perturbative method for bound states based on light-front quantization. Next I will use the positronium system as an example to illustrate how we solve for relativistic bound state structure in BLFQ based on first-principles of QED. I will demonstrate the various divergences encountered in this method and show how we can nevertheless extract useful information on postronium structure. I will make comparison between the resulting wave functions and those obtained from an earlier effective potential approach. Finally I will present the probability distribution of finding a photon inside a positronium and compare with that inside a physical electron.
