Kirill Tuchin, ISU, "Electromagnetic radiation in chiral materials from Weyl semimetals to Quark-Gluon Plasma"

Electromagnetic radiation of a charged particle moving in chiral matter has a number of unique properties that can be used to investigate the chiral anomaly in such diverse media as the quark-gluon plasma, the Weyl semimetals, and the axionic dark matter. I will discuss the chiral Cherenkov and transition radiations and explain how they are different from the corresponding effects in ordinary matter.
