Michael Rowland stars as Shred in the new hit FOX comedy Animal Control, alongside Joel McHale. Originally from Atlanta, GA, he is a New York-based stand-up comedian and actor. He just made his late-night tv debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and this past summer was honored as a New Face at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal.

He's been featured multiple times on This Week at the Comedy Cellar on Comedy Central, as well as Stupid Questions with Chris DiStefano and Pause with Sam Jay on HBOMax.  He also has a feature set for Comedy Central Digital, and in 2019 he was a finalist in the "New York's Funniest Stand Up" competition for New York Comedy Festival.  You can hear him on his podcast In The Minivan and he co-hosts the monthly show Laughodills in Flatbush, Brooklyn. See him while you still can, because the boy rides a bike with no helmet in New York, and we're not sure how long he's going to last.
