The career fair offers employers and students a professional environment to connect and discuss internships and full-time employment opportunities in human/social services; health/wellness; event management; government; and hospitality. There also will be an opportunity for students to meet with representatives from professional health and law schools.

Getting Started with LaTex and Overleaf
This hands-on workshop uses the Overleaf editor to demonstrate the basics of LaTeX. LaTeX is a powerful typesetting language often used for writing theses, dissertations, peer-reviewed journal articles, and scientific documents. Registration is required through Learn@ISU. Reception and artist's talk for a solo exhibition by Christian D'Cruz, senior in graphic design, on display Feb. 10-14 in Gallery 181. The show includes mixed-media paintings, experiential monitor displays, a mural and projections created in 2019-2020, as well as a collaborative painting with renowned artist and ISU alumnus Chris Vance (BFA 2000 Visual Studies).

Learn the dos and don'ts of candy making during a live demonstration with Lauren Grant, alumna and owner of Zestful Kitchen. Grant worked with America's Test Kitchen, Cuisine at Home Magazine's test kitchen, and Better Homes and Gardens test kitchen. Participants will receive candy samples and recipes. Kickoff: 19th Amendment Centennial
"Hard Won, Not Done," a year of events scheduled across the state of Iowa to celebrate 100 years of women's suffrage. Join us for a half-day commemoration of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which will celebrate the diverse voices of the women's suffrage movement in Iowa and note other important landmarks in the American journey to universal adult suffrage. Although the vote was hard won, the work is not yet done.
