College of Human Sciences Entrepreneurship Showcase
College of Human Sciences students compete for cash prizes as people from business, industry, and academia judge them on their ideas to start a new business or spruce up an existing one. The 15th annual College of Human Sciences Entrepreneurship Showcase will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in the LeBaron Hall lobby area. The awards ceremony will follow at 9 p.m. in the LeBaron Auditorium.
4th Congressional District Democratic Candidate Forum
The Iowa State College Democrats will host a forum with candidates running for the Democratic nomination for the 4th Congressional District, which includes the city of Ames and Iowa State University.

Voorhees Supply Chain Management Conference
"Creative Destruction in Supply Chain," for professionals who deal with the planning, sourcing, making and delivering of products. This includes all businesses, entrepreneurs, and start-ups.
Anthropology Symposium
The anthropology symposium is an opportunity for students to share their projects and research with faculty and peers. Christina Gish Hill, lecturer in world languages and cultures, will present the keynote address. All are welcome to attend. Registration not required.
CODAC Spring Art Sale
Final day of biannual sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts (undergraduate) and integrated visual arts (graduate) programs, sponsored by CODAC (College of Design Art Club). Work this year may include ceramics, prints, photos, woods and textiles. Most items will range in price from $5 to $150. A majority of proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities such as workshops, field trips and guest speakers.
Retirement reception: Tsing-Chang Chen
Tsing-Chang (Mike) Chen, professor of geological and atmospheric sciences, is retiring after 40 years on the ISU faculty. Remarks will begin at 11:30 a.m.
