Banquet: 25 Year Club
The 25 Year Club recognizes long-term employees for their service to Iowa State University. Social at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m. A program and awards presentation follow the meal.
Works in Progress Lecture Series
"Political Stability, Justice and Civic Friendship in Aristotle," presentation by Cullen Padgett-Walsh, lecturer in philosophy and religious studies. The Works in Progress Lecture Series brings together faculty from the Colleges of Design and Liberal Arts and Sciences to talk informally about their work. All are welcome to attend.

Performance: Race and Land in America
"Free Land: Race and Land in America," Ariel Luckey. Luckey's multimedia presentation provides background information on the Homestead Act, post-Slavery Reconstruction programs and the Indian Wars, illustrating how racially discriminatory federal land policies of the nineteenth century directly established the patterns of land ownership present today.

Oscar Wilde's trivial comedy for serious people involves two dashing young men who have both taken the name "Earnest" to make themselves more appealing to women. When two women find the name so romantic that they declare they could not love any man who was not named "Earnest", Jack and Algernon must find a way to keep lying or change their names immediately. Funded by GSB.

Day of Insects
The day will be filled with presentations from professionals, academics, advocates and enthusiasts. Emphasis will primarily be on different ways of studying, learning about and discovering insects. There will be a variety of topics including Citizen Science opportunities, Iowa insects, specific taxa, interactions between insects and their host plants, as well as land snails. Register by March 1.
