In this session you will learn about USDA and USDA-NIFA requirements including IDC limitations, cost-share requirements, and other agency-specific forms.
CODAC Spring Art Sale
First day of biannual sale of work by students in the integrated studio arts (undergraduate) and integrated visual arts (graduate) programs, sponsored by CODAC (College of Design Art Club). Work this year may include ceramics, prints, photos, woods and textiles. Most items will range in price from $5 to $150. A majority of proceeds go to the artists, while the rest help fund club activities such as workshops, field trips and guest speakers.
Candidate forum: Director, Catt Center
Tracy Osborn, associate professor and program director at the University of Iowa, is one of four finalists in the search for the next director of the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics.
Orientation: Key Travel
One of ISU's new contracted travel agency partners, Key Travel, will host an orientation session six times April 23-25. The session includes a demo of Key Travel's online booking tool. No registration is required. It will be repeated at 3 p.m. today.
Workshop: Emotional intelligence
Session two of a two-part series. High-energy, interactive conversation that fosters awareness about how to be smarter with feelings. Learn how to be more intentional and purposeful with emotions so you can impact workplace outcomes. Session two will expand on session one with labeling and validating emotions; creating strategies and techniques to implement and increase EQ.
Poster presentation: University honors program
A poster presentation and reception featuring honors projects and graduates. Spring and summer honors graduates and honors students will be present to answer questions and speak with individuals interested in their projects.

Filmmaker Laurel Bower will show a 30-minute segment of her hour-long IPTV documentary, "George Washington Carver: An Uncommon Life," celebrating the life of George Washington Carver, including Iowa State's role in his path to education.
