Fashion Week: Worn Wear College Tour
Patagonia's Worn Wear tour stops at Iowa State. Worn Wear celebrates the stories we wear, keeps gear in action longer through repair and reuse, and recycles garments when beyond repair. Bring any clean, damaged clothing to Worn Wear, and Patagonia will repair it for free. Items are not excluded to Patagonia-branded clothing.

Cyclone Voice, with Skylar Grey
Cyclone Voice is a singing competition that highlights the vocal talents of Iowa State students. This year's finale will be hosted by pop singer Skylar Grey. Skylar is known for being featured in the song 'Glorious' and her hit song 'Coming Home, Part II'. Skylar will emcee the event and perform a few songs right before the winner is announced.

Explore the meaning of belonging through art in a session led by Ally Karsyn, founder, producer and host of Ode, a live storytelling series where community members tell true stories on stage to promote positive impact through empathy. Events are recorded for broadcast on NPR affiliate Siouxland Public Media, Sioux City, Iowa, where she is the arts producer and afternoon announcer. Planned as part of the First Amendment Days celebration.

The Fashion Show 2017 is in its 36th year, and is one of the largest student-run fashion shows in the nation. The show features student-designed garments both on the runway and in mounted exhibitions. This year's theme is "Resilience," with guest designers from the Patagonia company.

Reception: Public Art Unveiling
Join University Museums for the Curators Associates Reception at Morrill Hall where we will celebrate the installation of one of the newest additions to the permanent collection, Karen LaMonte's Nocturne 5. The large scale cast glass human form draped in a meticulously arranged textile was created through a painstaking process that exemplifies the translucent beauty of sculptural glass.

Reception: Biorenewables Art Competition
This 9th annual competition is a collaboration between the Bioeconomy Institute and the College of Design's integrated studio arts program. Award winners will be announced at 4:30 p.m.
'Trashion' Show
Hosted by students in AESHM 222, Creative Thinking and Problem Solving, to bring awareness to environmental issues hurting the planet. Students have created garments from recycled materials such as newspaper, plastic bottles, school supplies, fast food packaging and even parking tickets. The event also includes a silent auction, music, giveaways, drinks and refreshments.
