Cyclone Cinema: The Forever Purge
Adela and her husband, Juan, live in Texas, where he works as a ranch hand for the wealthy Tucker family. Juan impresses the Tucker patriarch, Caleb, but that fuels the jealous anger of his son, Dylan. On the morning after the Purge, a masked gang of killers attacks the Tuckers, forcing both families to band together and fight back as the country spirals into chaos.

A reverent nod to "Our Town," this play follows a group of young people in the town of Corners Grove from high school into adulthood as they deal with leaving home, falling in love, gender identity, and the death of Whitney Houston. Contains adult content and language.

Last Day! Sugar Skulls Craft for Latinx Heritage Month
Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican holiday that celebrates and honors those who have passed. One tradition includes building ofrendas (altars) honoring the deceased using brightly colored skulls, marigolds, and possessions of the departed. Instead of sugar, our skulls are paper mache, but we invite you to decorate them in the spirit of Dia de los Muertos using paint, glitter.
Lecture: Odette Casamayor-Cisneros
Cuban-born writer and scholar Dr. Odette Casamayor-Cisneros is Associate Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. This lecture is in conjunction with the "Arte Cubano" exhibition.

Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Chicago-based alternative pop artist Jamie Jacobsen, known onstage as Tedious & Brief, creates nostalgic anthems with her unique airy synth and smooth vocals. With strong family ties to music, Jacobsen took up guitar and songwriting at a young age. Her style evolved to form a more polished sound featuring elements and vocals akin to Maggie Rogers or Lorde. Des Moines-based indie-pop artist EleanorGrace will support the the show.
