Auditions: This is Our Youth
Before winter break, sign up for a time slot and pick up audition materials outside of 0310 Carver. Prepare one of the selected monologues. Roles available for 2 men and 1 wom1n. Performance dates are March 22-25.
Sewing Lessons

Opening reception: "Do[ing] Their Bit" exhibit
An opening reception for special collections and university archives spring exhibit, "Do[ing] Their Bit: Iowa's Role in the Great War." Library dean Beth McNeil will give opening remarks, with an introduction by special collections and university archives Petrina Jackson. Guest speakers Jack Lufkin and Mark Heggen will show and discuss, "Deeds Not Words," their video about the World War I Black Officers Training Camp at Fort Des Moines.

The 2018 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Legacy Convocation will be a discussion about balancing First Amendment rights with the concerns of diverse populations on university campuses. Participants include Howard Gillman, chancellor of the University of California, Irvine, and Mariah Watson, and former president of the University of California, Davis, student government.
