Impact: Identity, Belonging and Migration Exhibition
Public reception for "Impact: Identity, Belonging and Migration" exhibition curated by ISU graphic design graduate student Sang Eun Lee as part of her MFA thesis. The show features work by Lee and 13 other immigrant artists, including several College of Design alumni and Raluca Iancu, assistant professor of art and visual culture.
Industrial Design Keynote Lecture
Guest speakers Quentin De Coster and Katerina Kopytina of fuseproject, San Francisco will deliver the Industrial Design keynote lecuture. De Coster studied industrial design in Belgium and Italy and worked as a freelance designer in Europe before joining fuseproject in 2017. Kopytina is an industrial designer with fuseproject, where she collaborates with companies interested in high-quality and market-successful products.

Lecture: Vietnam Veterans, Still Coming Home
Dr. Steve Feimer, co-author of "Vietnam Vets: Still Coming Home," is an Associate Professor Justice Studies at the University of South Dakota. The purpose of this lecture is to heighten awareness of continuing struggles of Vietnam War Veterans as they deal with such issues as the physical effects on Agent Orange, PTSD, survivor's guilt, readjustment to civilian life, and combat loss. The Avett Brothers made mainstream waves with their 2009 major label debut, I and Love and You, landing at No. 16 on the Billboard Top 200 and garnering critical acclaim. In 2012 they saw The Carpenter hit No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 followed by Magpie and the Dandelion (2013) which debuted at No. 5 on Billboard's Top 200. The band appeared twice on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Baby, it's cold outside! Warm up with a snowman mug, adorn with ornaments and embrace the season with reindeer and other woodland friends. We will show you the basics of painting your piece and fire it within a week. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.

Argentine Tango Lessons
Valerie Williams This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with different partners for practice. From 5-7pm, the floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie, and for working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favorites
Three beloved stories by Eric Carle are retold on stage through the magic of black light and fanciful puppets. The Very Hungry Caterpillar eats his way through an amazing variety of foods on his path to becoming a beautiful butterfly. Little Cloud playfully transforms himself into various creatures, and The Mixed-Up Chameleon, bored with his life, attempts to emulate the animals he sees at the zoo before he realizes the value in his unique self.
