Pop-Up Valentine's Day Art Sale

ArtWalk: In From the Cold, Art to Warm Your Way
Join University Museums' Interpretation Specialist, David Faux, for a 'mostly' indoor tour of selections from the Art on Campus Collection in spaces that are sure to warm on a wintery day. Starting in the Horticulture Hall atrium, we will journey to the Palmer Building and through MacKay and LeBaron Halls, enjoying and discussing the various artful treasures hidden away from the cold in each location.
Artful Yoga
This practice will enrich your yoga experience by going beyond the physical and inviting an artistic perspective to your awareness. Arrive early for a brief discussion of the new exhibition beginning at 5:15. The practice will begin at 5:30. No yoga experience is necessary, but please bring your own mat. To reserve your spot, e-mail nancyg@iastate.edu by 3:00 pm on the day of the class.

Walk-In Craft: Pom Pom Hearts
Make your own pom poms from yarn and glue them to a heart-shaped plaque.
Picture Frames Class
Learn the basic construction of a frame including how to make mitered corners and create rabbets to hold the artwork.

A Delsarte based approach to Middle Eastern (Belly) Dance in the style of award winning performer Shiara.
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival Comedy Troupe
Grandma Mojo's Moonshine Revival is Iowa State University's student comedy, improv group. Holding shows on some Wednesday nights, you can come and laugh to your hearts content at the Mojos, and with the Mojos.

Bring your lunch to the Christian Petersen Art Museum and hear from our educator about how to browse and utilize the objects not on view through eMuseum, University Museums' recently launched online collections database. You may discover objects that could inform the paper you are writing, the research you're conducting, or your class discussions.
