Paint Your Own Pottery: Chinese Brush Painting
"Painting" bisque is a fun and relaxing activity that can be done solo or with a group of friends Incorporate Hanzi (Chinese characters) into your design. Samples available to help you find one that represents a word or phrase that is meaningful to you. Studio fee is $4 for ISU and $5 for public to attend plus the cost of the bisque you select.

This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for better dancing. From 5-7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Adirondack Chairs Class
Make a comfortable outdoor chair just in time for fall fire pit season. Students will learn to follow a pattern and safely use wood shop tools including the table saw, drill press, sander and hand tools. Assemble your parts and learn about different finishes to personalize your woodworking project. Beginners are welcome.

ISU Symphonic Band and ISU Concert Band
The Symphonic Band is an 80-member ensemble that explores traditional as well as contemporary works by composers such as Percy Grainger, Malcolm Arnold, Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Leonard Bernstein. Kai Davis is a writer and performer from Philadelphia whose work deals with race, gender and sexuality. A Queer Woman of Color, she explores how these concepts affect who we are and how we love.
