Intermediate Glass Beads: Metal + Glass Class
Take your lampwork skills to the next level and make amazing glass beads with silver! Learn several ways to add fine silver wire and silver foil to your creations. Other techniques may be used as time permits. Students must complete a beginning glass beads class before taking this class.

Intermediate Knitting Class
Knit a pair of fingerless gloves perfect for staying cozy in the winter months while typing out your final paper or taking notes in a chilly lecture hall. Knitters will be introduced to knitting in the round, magic loop method, shaping techniques and basic cabling. These reversible fingerless gloves are easy enough for your first foray into circular knitting, but the cabled detail adds a bit of flair.
Belly Dance Lessons

Soap Making - Hot Process Class
Learn soap making from scratch, using a hot-process crock pot method. With this method the "cure time" is greatly reduced. The ability to use finicky fragrances that normally can't be used with a traditional Cold Process method is the trademark of this technique. Lye safety will be emphasized.

Beat Diabetes Walk
The Diabetic Education Club (DEC) is a new student club bringing diabetes awareness, education and support to ISU. The club is open to students, faculty, staff and community members. The short walk will begin inside the northeast door of Hoover, cross the skywalk to Howe, and loop back to Hoover. Information about the prevention of type 2 diabetes will be available along the route as well as prize drawings and healthy snacks.
