Celebration: Earth Observation Day
Iowa State's geographic information systems (GIS) facility is celebrating Earth Observation Day, including a crowd-sourced mapping event to help with disaster relieve efforts. Daryl Herzmann, ISU agronomy, will speak about the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. No previous experience is required. RSVPs requested.

Cyclone Central Tailgate
Cyclones everywhere are invited to celebrate at the ISU Alumni Center before every home football game. Enjoy giveaways, shopping, refreshments, marching band performances, Cy and spirit squad appearances, and entertainment for all ages. Doors open 3 hours prior to kick-off and end 30 minutes prior to kickoff.

Celebrating the Reformation
The program will feature speakers Pati Kachel, The Parable Fund in Minnesota ("Katie Luther: Here I Stand"); Rev. Don Rothweiler, retired Lutheran pastor, Ankeny ("Martin Luther: The Quest for a Gracious God"); and Dr. Paul Maier, professor emeritus of ancient history and former campus pastor, Western Michigan University ("History and Impact of the Reformation"). Vocalists Simon Estes and the Ames Children's Choir will perform.

Alumni and friends will be recognized at the 86th annual Honors and Awards Ceremony. All are welcome to attend. A dessert reception will follow the ceremony.
Homecoming: Pep Rally
Celebrate Homecoming with food, cash bar, giveaways and games. The pep rally starts at 7 p.m., featuring the marching band and spirit squad, coaches, student-athletes, Yell Like Hell finals and Cardinal Court. Bidding in a silent auction starts at 4 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Cardinal Court royalty scholarship.
