Forestry Club: Tree and wreath sale
Students in the forestry club will sell Christmas trees and wreaths. Proceeds support club activities.

This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Winterfest Open House
Visit the Farm House Museum this week of Winterfest on ISU campus and enjoy complementary hot cider and cookies. Explore the holiday themed exhibition "Is There a Santa Claus?" and learn about early electrification of lights on campus, music boxes and means of entertainment, and the imagery of Santa through the eyes of illustrator Thomas Nast.

Hort Club: Poinsettia Fundraiser
The ISU Horticulture Club will be selling a variety of 15 poinsettia cultivars grown in the ISU greenhouse. Proceeds of the sale help club members pay for educational trips and speakers, registration at conferences and competitions, and practical hands-on learning.
Broader Impacts Evaluation Workshop
Effective in January 2013, NSF will ask that investigators have assessment and evaluation measures built into research proposals for both the intellectual merit and broader impacts review criteria. This workshop will assist investigators with their broader impacts effort.

"How to Survive a Plague" is the story of how activism and innovation turned AIDS from a death sentence into a manageable condition. It follows a group of young people, many of them HIV-positive young men, who infiltrated the pharmaceutical industry and helped identify promising new drugs, moving them from experimental trials to patients in record time.
