"Working Over Wood" Artist Studio Open House
Every Friday, artist Jennifer Drinkwater will set up her studio in the ground floor gallery of the Christian Petersen Art Museum - Room 0003. She invites the public to visit with her, participate, and develop a dialog about her current project to reinterpret and recompose the Grant Wood mural for Parks Library "When Tillage Begins, Other Arts Follow".
ISU Retirees social and program

Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. The show is suitable for all ages and will be followed by a star-gazing session (weather permitting). Free tickets for the show will be available at the door starting at 6:30 pm.
ZuZu African Acrobats
The Zuzu Acrobats is a 45 minute show and it features 5 male acrobats from Mombasa Kenya. This show is similar to a show you would see in a nightclub in the coastal region of Kenya and Tanzania. This year the group performed in America's Got Talent! This event is part of Black History Month!
Dance social
Free dance social hosted by the ISU Ballroom Dance Club. Singles welcome. Dress is casual, however indoor shoes or socks must be worn.

Charity Skate
Support the community and have a fun night of ice skating with friends! The annual Charity Skate, hosted by honor society Alpha Lambda Delta/Phi Eta Sigma, offers a night on the ice, games and door prizes. Cost: Only two nonperishable food items! All donations go to Ames Emergency Residence Project.
