Second Annual College Creek Clean-up
The second annual ISU College Creek Clean Up will be held on Saturday, June 19 from 1-4pm. Keep Iowa State Beautiful and the Live Green! initiative are hosting a litter pick-up in and around College Creek, which passes through Iowa State's campus.
Stamping Saturday
Bring in your stamping, scrapbooking or paper-craft supplies and share the table with other creative folks. The Workspace has lots of stamps and paper to experiment with and other supplies to share. Come for the community, stay for the creativity!
Midnight Ivory Dueling Pianos
A new event this year, join us for appetizers and cash bar beginning at 6:30 p.m. Then take part in the energetic dueling piano experience with "Midnight Ivory" featuring Roxi Copland and Chris Ranallo. Listen to your favorite songs in dueling piano style with some lively banter and a lot of fun.

Needle Felting with Annihka Murray
Learn to make a wise little owl you can hold in your hand. This class will cover the basics of dry needle felting three-dimensional forms as well as the step by step process for creating a small owl friend! Keep the specialized needles to create on your own after you leave class.
Wheel Pottery Class with Greg Lamont
A multi-level class for both beginners and those with basic experience. Students will be guided through all aspects of forming bowls, mugs, vases and more on the pottery wheel. Learn hand-pulling, glazing and finishing techniques.

Cornhole (Bags) with Jonathan Eimer and Annihka Murray
Make a custom Cornhole board and bags for your outdoor gatherings and tailgating. Construct the board with Jonathan in the woodshop, personalize it by painting, and then Annihka will help you sew the bags.
Drawing with Nancy Thompson
Take the opportunity to develop a range of skills in basic drawing. Learn line, light and shadow, perspective and composition while developing your hand-eye coordination. Use a variety exercises led by Thompson and experiment with different drawing media.

Dairy Month Celebration
The ISU Dairy Farm will celebrate Dairy Month by offering tours of the farm, a childrens' discovery center, and free samples of cheese, milk, yogurt, and ice cream. Learn about animal care and comfort, product quality and safety, and environmental stewardship.

"Little Dresses for Africa" Work Day
Simple dresses made out of pillow cases provide relief and hope for the children of Africa. We will provide the supplies, but can use the hands of volunteers to assist with making the dresses. From cutting fabric and ironing to sewing, there is a place for anyone that has an hour or two to spare. Drop in our community studio to help another community of children in the orphanages of Central Africa.
