Knitting Class
Learn the basics of knitting: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off, rib stitch, increase and decrease techniques, pattern reading, gauge swatching, and picking up dropped stitches. Bring a pair of #7 or #8 single-point needles. Yarn will be provided.

Maury Hope, associate chief information officer in Information Technology Services, is retiring. A short program will begin at 4 p.m.
Inspiration Awards and Annual Reception
A reception will be followed by recognition of retiring members of the ISU Alumni Association board and 2014 recipients of the Faculty-Staff Inspiration Award. The event will conclude with an appetizer and dessert reception. RSVPs requested by May 19.
