Nashville-based singer-songwriter Sinclair is making her mark in the music industry, and has just released her debut EP "Sweet Talk" on SoundCloud via independent label Drive Music LLC. "Sweet Talk" was produced by Grammy-nominated producer John Alagia (who has worked with the likes of John Mayer, Ben Folds, Dave Matthews, and Jason Mraz) and platinum-selling songwriter/producer Nolan Sipe.

A concert to launch the new academic year featuring the faculty in the ISU music department.
Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Auditions: Cabaret
Roles available for approximately 10 men and 10 women. Many roles require strong dancing, singing, and acting skills. Auditions will consist of prepared/memorized selected songs from the show as well as small, brief movement improvisation. An accompanist will be provided. Stop by 2130 Pearson Hall to sign up for an audition time and pick up materials!

Each session features a theme with two or three books read aloud followed by a related craft or activity.

POSTPONED - Fountain of the Four Seasons 75th Anniversary Celebration
POSTPONED until later this fall - date TBD. Join us in celebrating the 75th anniversary of this iconic campus sculpture and the recent plaza renovation as part of the ISU President's beautification initiative. The event will include traditional dancers and the Brown Otter Drum Group from the Meskwaki Settlement as well as remarks by President Steven Leath at 12:30 pm.
