This event showcases the talents of floral designers as they are challenged to create arrangements inspired by works of art on exhibition in the Brunnier Art Museum. On opening night you will be the first to hear who the judges choose as this year's winners, while enjoying music, light refreshments, and mingling with the floral designers.

Day of Insects
Our annual Day of Insects brings together professionals, academics, advocates and enthusiasts of all levels from across the country to explore and celebrate entomology (the study of insects).

21st International Festival of Women Composers concert, featuring Miriam Zach, organ; James Bovinette, trumpet; and Amy Christiansen, oboe.
Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

ADVANCE Workshop: Diversity and Inclusion
Presented by the Cornell Interactive Theatre Ensemble. Interactive theatre and facilitated dialogue from multiple points of view create a climate that builds inclusion, fosters collaboration and gives participants knowledge and tools to take back to their own work environments.
Candidate Presentation: Landscape Architecture Chair Finalist Nnamdi Elleh
Nnamdi Elleh is a finalist for the position of chair of the ISU Department of Landscape Architecture. He currently is a professor of architecture, history and theory at the University of Cincinnati. He will give a public presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.

Art + Issues - Building a Campus Community
Art + Issues is an open campus discussion facilitated by our educator of visual literacy and learning. Topics that relate to current events will be presented and attendees are encouraged to bring other discussion topics with them with a goal of generating understanding in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space. People are invited to come and go during the two hour time frame as their schedule permits.
Exhibit opening: Iowa History 101
The State Historical Museum of Iowa's mobile museum (a 38-foot, custom-built Winnebago) will be parked outside Parks Library on March 27 (3-5 p.m.) and March 28-31 (8 a.m.-5 p.m.). Faculty, staff and students are welcome to take free tours of the exhibition "Iowa History 101," which features about 50 artifacts from the State Historical Society's collection.
Retirement reception: Lois Wright Morton
Lois Wright Morton, professor in sociology, is retiring after 18 years of service. A short program will begin at 5:15 p.m.
