Join a team of Iowa State University Industrial Design professors and graduate students for a STEAM workshop great for learning design problem solving and methodology. Ages 4-8, 10 a.m.-noon; ages 9-16, noon-2 p.m.
FIRST LEGO: Alumni Build Day
Individuals that love building with LEGO(r), have volunteered at a FIRST event, or are FIRST alumni. Join the Iowa FLL Planning Team in building LEGO kits for this year's competition, Animal Allies. This is a great way to connect with other FIRST and LEGO enthusiasts, give back to the community, and have a blast building. Volunteers can stay for an hour or all day. Museums panel: Navigating a Sea of Change
Emerging museum professionals are entering a field already amidst a sea of change -- technologically, educationally, socially, theoretically, and financially. Graduate students from Western Illinois University's Museum Studies Graduate Program will lead a round table discussion. A Museums Career Panel Discussion, to be held in the Memorial Union, will follow this program and feature several current Iowa museum professionals.
Walk-in Argentine Tango
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4-5pm, moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5-7pm, the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Meeting: Iowa Board of Regents
Created by the Iowa General Assembly in 1909, the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, is a group of nine citizens who govern five public educational institutions in the state through policymaking, coordination and oversight, as provided by law. Meetings are open to the public.
