This event has been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, Feb. 24, due to weather. Iowa State's Lied Center plays host to the conference championships for the fifth time. Saturday events begin at 10 a.m.; Sunday events start at 11 a.m.

The Other California: An Anatomy of Consensus and Consent
Erica Kohl-Arenas, an assistant professor in the Milano School of International Affairs, Management and Urban Policy at The New School, New York City, will address the shortcomings of consensus-based "creative capitalism" for resolving inequality and poverty, using a large-scale philanthropic initiative in farmworker communities in California's Central Valley as a case study.

Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. Shows are at 7 pm and 7:30 pm and are suitable for all ages. Weather permitting a star-gazing session will be held after dark. Free tickets for the shows will be available at the door starting at 6:45 pm. Seating is limited.

Cabinet of Curiosities exhibits wonderfully unique, odd, and bizarre objects from collections across campus. Exhibition Curator Allison Sheridan will talk briefly about how the objects were located, chosen, and placed into our exhibit of curios. She will be joined by Deb Lewis, curator of the Ada Hayden Herbarium, who will talk specifically about the botanical specimens in the exhibition.
