Homecoming: Honors and Awards Ceremony
As part of the Homecoming celebration, each college as well as the ISU Alumni Association will recognize their alumni and friends. The ceremony is open to the public. A dessert reception will follow.
Homecoming: Pep Rally & Centennial Celebration
Family friendly tailgate and carnival games, giveaways, cash bar and food. Pep rally begins at 7 p.m., featuring Cyclone coaches and student-athletes, Yell Like Hell finals and Cardinal Court recognition.
Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. Shows are at 7 pm and 7:30 pm and are suitable for all ages. Weather permitting a star-gazing session will be held after dark. Free tickets for the shows will be available at the door starting at 6:45 pm. Seating is limited.

Award presentation and reception
Barbara Iverson, president of Weber Shandwick's financial services industry practice group, will receive the James W. Schwartz Award for Distinguished Service, the university's highest recognition of achievement in journalism and mass communication. A reception follows the award presentation.

Argentine Tango Practica
This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. From 4- 5pm moves for beginners are introduced with a different figure each week along with techniques for dancing better. From 5 - 7pm the dance floor is yours for dancing under the guidance of Valerie and working with different partners. An intermediate level figure will also be introduced during this time.

Faculty Author Book Talks
Julie Courtwright, assistant professor of history, and Radford Davis, associate professor of vet microbiology and preventive medicine, will speak about their latest published books. Courtwright will discuss "Prairie Fire: A Great Plains History," and Davis will talk about "Caring for Family Pets."
