Open house: ISU Dairy Farm
Celebrate all things dairy and learn about modern dairy farming practices and the ISU Dairy Research and Teaching Unit. Visitors are invited to enjoy breakfast, participate in informational tours of the milking parlor and milk house, hop on a trolley for a driving tour of the farm, and learn about various commodity groups within Iowa.
Iowa Veterans Entrepreneurship Conference
The conference aims to provide education, resources, and networking opportunities to Iowa's veteran community. It will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, breakout sessions, business pitch workshops with competition, and business partner exhibitors. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from successful veteran entrepreneurs, learn from industry experts and connect with other veterans.

This Milonga (dance party) is a multi-level class with lots of time to enjoy the music and dance. Classes meet every Sunday and drop-ins are welcome. Purchase a dance punch card and attend as often as your schedule allows. Open to ages 18+.

June 8 Program is 12:10 - 12:50 PM. Room is open 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM for socializing. Bring your lunch and your friends and attend each month to experience a new nature-focused topic. June 8 topic is "Light & Reflection in the Gardens: Glass in Flight" by Reiman Gardens' Education Director Sara Merritt.
Level II Wheel Pottery Class with Greg Lamont
If you have taken a beginning pottery class or have the basic skills to throw on the wheel, this class is for you! The first few classes will include demonstrations of new forms and techniques and a session dedicated to better glazing. The last 3 weeks will have lessons based on requests from students. There will be time for practicing in class and for individual questions throughout the course.

Grab a friend and drop by for a fun evening of easy painting. Each Friday has a different theme, and there will be 4-6 paintings to choose from. If you don't finish, no worries! We will send you home with extra paint and brushes, or you are welcome to come back sometime the following week.

The Memorial Union Art Gallery is hosting an exhibit by artist Jennifer Drinkwater who created paintings "inspired by conversations she has with folks around the country about what's good in their communities." She is an associate professor of art & visual culture and a community arts specialist for Extension and Outreach.
