Open forum: Associate director of residence life
Virginia Speight, associate vice president for student affairs and director of residence life at the University of Toledo, Ohio, is one of three finalists for the associate director of residence life position.

Down and Dirty Swing Dance
Come join Student Union Board on the MU Terrace for a Friday night filled with swing dancing! Cyclone Swing Society will put on a free dance lesson at 8pm and the dance will start promptly at 8:30pm.

Workshop: Sustaining Academic Pipeline
Workshop One: "Transitioning From Graduate Student to Faculty Member for Faculty of Color." Speakers at the event will include: Brian Burt and Sarah Rodriguez, assistant professors in the School of Education; and Shannon Coleman, assistant professor in food science and human nutrition. Library space feasibility study: Open session for faculty
The Iowa State University Library has partnered with Perkins + Will, an architecture firm in Chicago, Ill., to conduct the Parks Library space feasibility study. All ISU faculty are invited to this session with the architects and the study's steering committee members.

Meeting: Iowa Board of Regents
Created by the Iowa General Assembly in 1909, the Board of Regents, State of Iowa, is a group of nine citizens who govern five public educational institutions in the state through policymaking, coordination and oversight, as provided by law. Meetings are open to the public.
