Paint Your Own Pottery: Dots and Patterns
Join us on Fridays evenings for a fun exploration of techniques in "painting" bisque. Repetition of dots or shapes will create interesting patterns on your piece.

Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. The first show, starting at 6:30 p.m. will be 20 minutes and for kids. Shows at 7 and 7:30 p.m. and are suitable for all ages. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 6:15 p.m. Seating is limited. Weather permitting there will be an outdoor observing session after the last show.

Class: History of Perfume
Travel into our scented past and discover that history with this presentation from Amanda Feeley, natural perfumer and owner of Esscentual Alchemy. Amanda will also display a Roman Unguentarium (perfume vial), and will re-create a typical perfume of the Roman period, to offer an opportunity to smell how perfumes differ from Roman times to the 21st century.

Nanovaccine Initiative Seminar
"Nanofabrications for Infectious and Degenerative Disorders," Dr. Howard Gendelman, University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha. Dr. Gendelman will discuss the fabrication of nanomedicine for Parkinson's and viral diseases following his discovery of how functional alterations in brain immunity lead to neural cell damage.
