Deadline: Graduation applications
Seniors graduating Summer 2011 or Fall 2011 should submit a Graduation Application to the Registrar's Graduation Office, 210 Enrollment Services Center, after registering for final course work. Applications are available from advisers or the Registrar's Graduation Office.

Registration opens (seniors)
First day of assigned Summer 2011 and Fall 2011 registration dates for students projected as seniors. Hours for AccessPlus registration are 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday-Saturday, and most Sundays.
French open house
Students from French 304 (French for Business and Professions) are hosting a French open house for all students. Learn about the French program plus its extracurricular activities, including the French major and minor, study abroad programs, French Club, internships and more. Door prizes will be awarded. Representatives from related programs also will be present.
Tuesday Tea
Come to the Farm House Museum to enjoy tea and conversation about all things Farm House. Mark your calendar from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm Tuesdays this month and enjoy the 150 year old structure in a whole new way. Check the University Museums website to learn what the discussion topic will be. Can't make it at noon? The Farm House will be serving tea from 12 to 4 pm on Tuesdays so stop in any time.

Presidential Lectureship in Chemistry
Richard Schrock received the 2005 Nobel Laureate Prize in chemistry for his work on metathesis, a process now widely used in the development of pharmaceuticals and in the manufacture of advanced plastic materials. He is has held the position of Frederick G. Keyes Professor of Chemistry at MIT since 1989. The 2011 Iowa State Presidential Lectureship in Chemistry.
