Governance and Planning: Locating the will and power to plan in the Americas
Enrique Silva, assistant professor of urban affairs and city planning at Boston University Metropolitan College, takes a governance-based approach to assess the political and institutional opportunities planners face in two distinct national political contexts: Chilean (neoliberal) centralism in boom times and Haitian hyper-fragmented institutionalism in times of disaster.

Graduate College students: cancel graduation
Last day for graduate students to cancel graduation without being assessed a nonrefundable graduation fee.
Last Day to add/drop full semester course
Last day to add/drop full-semester courses or withdraw without extenuating circumstances.
Schedule Change-Full Semester Courses
Last day to change a full-semester course to or from Pass/Not Pass. Courses changed to graded basis after Jan. 23 count toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.
EH&S Safety Summit
Environmental Health and Safety invites anyone interested in ISU safety issues to attend its spring EH&S Summit. "Working Over Wood" Artist Studio Open House
Every Friday, artist Jennifer Drinkwater will set up her studio in the ground floor gallery of the Christian Petersen Art Museum - Room 0003. She invites the public to visit with her, participate, and develop a dialog about her current project to reinterpret and recompose the Grant Wood mural for Parks Library "When Tillage Begins, Other Arts Follow".

Members of the Agriculture Systems Technology Club will complete a routine service on mowers (no major repairs). Pickup and dropoff service is available in Ames only for an additional cost ($15 push, $20 riders); call or email by 2 p.m. March 22 to request pickup. Service continues March 24 (8 a.m.-3 p.m.).

Planetarium Show
Are you curious about space? Do you wonder about what you can see in the night sky? If so, bring your questions and come to the ISU Planetarium to learn more. The first show will start at 7:00 pm and is geared toward a younger audience, followed at 7:30 by a show for a general audience. Weather-permitting, a star-gazing session will be held after dark. Free tickets for the shows will be available at the door starting at 6:45 pm.
Relay for Life
Relay for Life events raise hundreds of millions of dollars each year for cancer research, education, advocacy and awareness. It will be a night of celebration, remeberance and support. There will be entertainment, food, games and ceremonies to remember lost ones and support those struggling with cancer today. Come with your friends and family to experience a great time and help us raise money.
