Training: Understanding FMLA
For managers and supervisors wanting to learn more about the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and the process at ISU. This session includes: potential FMLA situations; what actions to take; roles of the supervisor, employee and HRS; accurately calculating and tracking how much FMLA time is available to an employee; and more.

Celebrate the Season and 20 great years of sharing music with Lorie Line. The theme will be simple and elegant as Lorie and five of her fabulous musicians return to some favorite old traditions from over the years. Lorie plans to wear run-way red-carpet couture dresses and adorn all of her musicians in the latest designer fashions. Bring the kids (ages 4 and up) as they will get to meet Santa on stage!

Live webcast: 'Frontiers of Evolution'
A live webcast of a panel of scientists led by E. O. Wilson and Everett Mendelsohn will discuss Darwin's legacy and talk about the frontiers of evolutionary and molecular biology as part of the the "150th Anniversary of the Origin of Species" series hosted by The Reading Odyssey and the Darwin Facebook Project. This lecture is the fourth of five lectures in the fall of 2009 to celebrate Darwin's seminal publication.
