Fine dining dinner (American)

Haunted Iowa State
University Museums grows a little spookier this October for its annual Haunted Iowa State event. Explore campus locations with a haunted and historic reputation, and investigate Iowa State's past at "sites of fright" that include the Campanile, ISU campus cemetery, the Memorial Union, Farm House Museum, and others. Meet at 7:00 pm at the Campanile - maps will be distributed promptly at 7:00 pm! Bring a flashlight and join us... if you dare!
William K. Deal Endowed Leadership Lecture
Neil Harl, emeritus professor of economics at Iowa State, is a recognized expert in farm finance, agricultural law, estate planning and business planning. As the founder and director of the Center for International Agricultural Finance he is often credited with helping lay the foundation for Eastern European countries transitioning to a market economy.

Designated repeat: full semester courses
Last day to file a Designation of Repeated Course form for a full-semester or second half-semester course that is not an automatic designated repeat.
Drop deadline: full semester courses
Last day to add/drop full-semester courses or withdraw without extenuating circumstances.
Pass/Not Pass: full semester courses
Last day to change a full-semester course to or from Pass/Not Pass. Full-semester courses changed to graded basis after Sept 24 count toward total allowable P/NP credits used for graduation.

Retirement reception: Donna Wiegand
Wiegand is retiring after 14 years of service to Iowa State -- in human resource services, the horticulture department and most recently, as office coordinator at Reiman Gardens.
Dia de Los Muertos Ceremonia
Celebrate Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) while learning about the origins and culture behind this Latin American historical tradition. Help build the altar from 3-5 p.m. Loreto Prieto, ISU Latino studies, will deliver a lecture on the history and tradition of the day at 6 p.m.
