Workshop: Recycled Bookmaking
Learn about historical bookbinding techniques and make your own unique handmade books from recycled papers, using variations of the Coptic stitch. Leave class with two or more books and the know-how to keep cutting, folding and stitching more. A perfect use for that handmade paper from our Papermaking Workshop.

CODAC Spring Art Sale
The CODAC (College of Design Art Club) spring sale of artwork by students in the integrated studio arts/integrated visual arts programs will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, April 29-May 1, outside the College of Design Dean's Office. Most of the proceeds go directly to the student artists, while the rest help fund club activities. Find a unique gift for graduation, Mother's Day, a summer wedding, or for yourself!
Music in the Courtyard
In conjuction with the Rashomon sculpture exhibition by Chuck Ginnever, an Iowa State music ensemble will play music over the noon hour in and amongst the sculptures in the courtyard of the Food Sciences building. Bring your lunch to the courtyard for music, sculpture, and a respite from studying for finals.

Joint retirement reception for Roger Baer, professor of graphic design and former chair of the art and design department; Mark Engelbrecht, professor of architecture and dean emeritus of the College of Design; and Tim Keller, professor emeritus and former chair of landscape architecture. Mid Iowa Woodcarvers Woodworking Show
The Mid-Iowa Woodcarvers return for their one-day show on Saturday, May 2! Guests will have the opportunity to view carving contest entries, watch carving demonstrations and participate in a hands-on lesson in whittling.

It's time for spring cleaning! We will be going through our stash of supplies and pricing to sell. We also have a number of free items that will be on our CRAFT SWAP TABLE!
