In this session you will learn about the informed consent process, which includes participant recruitment and the informed consent document. Discussion will include regulatory requirements and best practices for designing and administering informed consent.

Lunch and learn: Bridging the Divide

The Office for Responsible Research will transition to a new electronic system for submission, review, and maintenance of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) applications. The a-tune tick@lab system will go live in early 2018, integrating research, teaching and testing protocols, animal procurement and management, as well as veterinary medical records.
